The Scottish Chamber Orchestra has 37 permanent members, although repertoire sometimes demands that the Orchestra expands beyond this number. In addition to performing with the SCO, many of the musicians make guest appearances with other ensembles, uphold established careers as soloists, or share their musical expertise in the education field. It is the diversity of the musicians' background that makes the SCO such a unique ensemble. Purplemint spent time in Edinburgh filming the SCO and is providing a video that shows off the unique qualities of this orchestra.
